Deep Dish Pizza with Cheese and Meatballs

Ingredients:
For the Pizza Dough:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Topping:
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (or a mix)
1 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cooked meatballs, halved (store-bought or homemade)
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size
